In President Rodrigo Duterte's speech for the opening of the NLEX HARBOR LINK SEGMENT 10 PROJECT, the President informed the public that government projects should not be credited to anyone.
“Before anything I‟d like to talk about this penchant of political commentators and politicians themselves, to just say a few words for them, that we are not into a claim and credit syndrome,” according to President Duterte.
We suppose to be thankful and appreciate to the people who have participated in the project and to all the Filipinos.
“All of the projects that we undertake and will do for the rest of my term be – — give our gratitude to the builders, to the contractors, the partners of government and to — we place it in the name of the people of the Republic of the Philippines.,” added the president.
Projects have become possible because of the people's money so it should not be credited to anyone.

“We do not claim any… Just because we mentioned it in passing sometimes it‟s not because that we are claiming any credit. Nobody can claim credit in the name of the people, it is their money and for all of us. Iyon lang ho just a reminder to…,” added the President.
The NLEX HARBOR LINK SEGMENT 10 PROJECT is the new expressway that will allow the motorists to travel more faster from Valenzuela to Caloocan.
According to Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar, the 1hr trip will become 5 minutes in this new lanes. The expressway has six lanes.
